Merge PDF for free

Combine contracts, receipts, chapters or scanned documents into a single PDF. Drag to put them in order — images can go in too.

Your PDF never leaves your device: everything happens in your browser, with no upload, no sign-up, no watermark and no metadata.

What is metadata?

Hidden data inside the PDF, like author, program and creation dates. Removed from the result.

How to merge PDF files

Drop your PDFs — all at once or one by one. Each file becomes a card showing its first page; drag the cards into the right order (on a phone, hold a card for a moment before dragging) and tap Merge PDF. You get one file with every page, in the order you chose.

Photos and images go in too: a photographed receipt, an ID scanned as JPG or an iPhone photo in HEIC becomes a PDF page, fitted to A4. To build a PDF from photos only, with more page and margin options, use JPG to PDF.

Everything happens in your browser: the files are never uploaded to a server. That matters because what people merge is usually personal — contracts, statements, medical results. Password-protected PDFs work too: you type the password here and it stays on your device.

Text stays text: you can select and search the merged PDF, because pages are copied as they are, not turned into images. Too big to send? Run it through Compress PDF. Need to remove or rotate a page first? Organize PDF does that.

Example: the loan application pack

The bank wants everything in one PDF: a photo of your ID as JPG, proof of address as PDF, three pay slips and a bank statement. Drop all six files at once, drag the ID to the front and tap Merge PDF: you get one file with every page in the right order, and the PDFs’ text is still searchable. If it’s over the email limit, Compress PDF takes it from there without choosing the file again.

Questions about merging PDFs

Is there a limit on files or pages?

There’s no fixed limit. Your device’s memory is what limits it: on a computer, dozens of files and hundreds of pages merge fine; on a phone, very large documents can take longer.

Can I merge a PDF with photos?

Yes. JPG, PNG and iPhone HEIC go in too, as A4 pages, wherever you place them.

How do I change the order on a phone?

Press and hold a file card for a moment, then drag. The order of the cards is the order of the pages in the final PDF.

Does the merged PDF keep the same name?

It gets a new name so none of the originals is overwritten. The files you dropped stay untouched on your device.
